Relio vs. Dubizzle
A different kind of resale marketplace.
Dubizzle is the region's largest horizontal classifieds board — real estate, cars, jobs, and general items, built around contact-exchange listings. Relio is narrower and deeper: a dedicated second-hand goods marketplace built around AI-drafted listings and escrow-protected checkout from the start.

| Capability | Relio | Dubizzle |
|---|---|---|
| AI-drafted listings from a photo | Title, price, category, condition, and description auto-generated | Not part of the core listing flow |
| Escrow-protected checkout | Payment held until the buyer confirms receipt | Contact-exchange model for general classifieds; payment is arranged directly between buyer and seller |
| Structured in-app negotiation | Offer, counter-offer, and accept/decline inside the chat | Buyer and seller typically negotiate off-platform after contact is exchanged |
| Bilingual AI (English/Arabic) | Listing drafts generate in either language | Interface is bilingual; listing content is written by the seller |
| Category focus | 12 second-hand goods categories | Broad horizontal marketplace — property, motors, jobs, and classifieds |
| Listing fee | Free to list | Free for most categories; fees apply for certain listing types and promotions |
Dubizzle Group (dubizzle's parent) postponed its planned DFM initial public offering in October 2025, reporting FY24 revenue of roughly $183M and around 18M monthly active users across MENA. Relio is a much earlier-stage, focused alternative — currently in private early access in the UAE.
The Relio Chrome extension also cross-lists your Relio listings to Dubizzle in one click, so the two aren't mutually exclusive.
